Aaron E. Alt, Harvard 1997, has been promoted to
senior vice president - corporate development at Sara Lee Corp.,
Chicago. He previously was vice president and senior corporate

Madison, as partners. Mullins focuses on construction law. Sinderbrand

Captain Robert B. Blazewick, Marquette 1987, has
been appointed director of the U.S. Navy & Marine Corps Appellate
Defense Division, Washington, D.C. He previously was deputy director of
the general litigation division of the U.S. Navy Office of the Judge
Andrew R. Bosshard, Northwestern 2000, cum laude,
has joined Bosshard Parke Ltd., La Crosse, and focuses on business and

William E. (Bill) Connors, U.W. 1989, has become
director of the Continuing Legal Education Department at the State Bar
of Wisconsin. He previously was Evansville city administrator.
Amy J. Wilkinson, U.W. 2002, and Anthony J.
Steffek, Marquette 2006, have joined Denissen, Kranzush,
Mahoney & Ewald S.C., Green Bay, as associates and will focus on
general civil litigation and insurance defense.
David Patrick Eich, Columbia 1992, has been
appointed senior partner of Kirkland & Ellis's Hong Kong office,
which will open in the fall of 2006, pending regulatory approval. He
will continue to focus on transnational mergers and acquisitions and
other complex transactions.
Rea Holmes, UCLA 2005, has joined LaFollette Godfrey
& Kahn, the Madison office of Godfrey & Kahn S.C., in the
corporate practice group. Karen A. Waple, George
Washington 2001, has joined the litigation practice group in the
Milwaukee office. She previously was with Jenner & Block LLP,

of Hall Render Killian Heath & Lyman. Kalbach focuses on health law

Tim Kiefer, Harvard 1998, a U.S. Department of State
foreign service officer, has been transferred to the U.S. Embassy,
Baghdad, Iraq. He previously was with the U.S. Consulate, Ciudad Juarez,
Kevin King, Oklahoma City 1977, has become general
counsel for the Wisconsin Realtors Association. He previously was
executive vice president of the Realtors Association of South Central
Ann M. Meyer, San Diego 1989, has joined the West
Bend City Attorney's Office as an assistant city attorney and focuses on
prosecution and collection cases. She previously was with the Ozaukee
County District Attorney's Office.
Teresa L. Rickert, Drake 2004, has joined Schmidt,
Rupke, Tess-Mattner & Fox S.C., Brookfield, as an associate and
focuses on civil litigation and corporate law. She previously was
corporate counsel for Menard Inc.
Lacie L. Shook, Marquette 2006, has joined
Schmidlkofer & Toth LLC, Wauwatosa, as an associate and focuses on
Lila Sljivar, Marquette 2001, has joined Wilens
& Baker P.C., Manhattan, as a senior associate leading the federal
court litigation practice, primarily in immigration law matters.

John A. Griner IV, Drake 1984, and R. Scott
Ritter, Marquette 1975, have been promoted to practice group
leader at Nada K. Sizemore & Associates, Brookfield, the Wisconsin
staff counsel office of the St. Paul Travelers Insurance Co. Griner
leads the worker's compensation team, and Ritter leads the liability
team. Nada K. Sizemore, Pace 1981, is new managing

J. Mark Wilkinson, Tulsa 1998, has joined the
Richardson, Texas, office of Haynes & Boone LLP as an associate and

Corneille Law Group has opened a branch office at
325 W. Jefferson St., Green Bay. Leading the office is Mark
Budzinski, U.W. 2000, who focuses on general liability, medical
malpractice, and construction litigation. He recently rejoined the firm
after serving with the Marines in Iraq.
Betsy J. Abramson, UW, 1981, has been appointed to
the American Bar Association's Commission on Law and Aging. Abramson has
been involved in public interest law for the elderly for more than 20
years, has served on three Legislative Council committees involving
elderly issues, has represented the elderly on issues before the
Wisconsin legislature, and is an advisor to the State Bar's Elder Law

Distinguished Service Award from the State Bar's Alternative Dispute
