Court with Class

Court with Class, a joint venture of the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the State Bar of Wisconsin, provides high school teachers with the opportunity to include a Wisconsin Supreme Court visit as part of their classroom activities.

Through this program, high school classes:

  • Visit the Wisconsin Supreme Court Hearing Room at the state Capitol
  • Listen to attorneys present oral argument before the Supreme Court
  • Meet with a justice to discuss the role of the Supreme Court

Prior to the visit, teachers are provided with a synopsis of the case, information about the court system, and other law-related materials to help students to prepare for their day in court. Following the oral argument, students are able to meet with a justice to discuss the role of the Supreme Court. Many teachers choose to expand this visit, by separately arranging a meeting with their local legislators and a tour of the Wisconsin State Capitol.

SPACE FOR THIS PROGRAM IS LIMITED. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY.

Please contact Dan Converse to Register.
