Prairie Trust practices an Advisor-Friendly approach, collaborating with financial advisors in the responsibilities of trust management.
We are growing and in the need of a seasoned manager to lead our Personal Trust Department. The position will combine fiduciary expertise, leadership skills and client relationship management.
The responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage service lines of, Special Needs Trust, Directed/Delegated Trust, Full-Service Trust Administration, Real Estate, Fiduciary Tax, and Fiduciary Sales.
- Work with high net worth prospects and centers of influence.
- Drive sales and business development efforts with accountability for new clients and new strategic relationships.
- Strong knowledge of trust and fiduciary tax laws.
- Active participation in trust and estate professional groups.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the wealth management industry, with strong knowledge in trust, fiduciary tax and estate planning. Experience within an advisor-friendly trust model is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role.
- A management style consistent with a team oriented, collaborative business environment.
- Executive presence, communication, and relationship management skills. Presentation skills at the most senior levels.
- Undergraduate degree required (BS/BA). JD or CTFA a plus.
