Racine County Bar Association Recognized for Public Service
MADISON, May 17, 2001 - The Racine County Bar
Association was honored with an Award of Exceptional
Achievement by the State Bar of Wisconsin for their handbook,
Making Schools Work for All Children: A Parent's Toolbox of Rights
and Strategies. The handbook, developed in conjunction with Legal
Action of Wisconsin, Inc., received funding from the Sate Bar's Local
Bar Grant Competition . The handbook with assists parents in making
positive changes to their children's schools, and building on the
school's strengths.
