State Bar honoring first 150 women lawyers: Help needed from
families and relatives
September 14, 1998 - The State Bar of Wisconsin is
looking for family members, relatives, mentors and other colleagues of
the first 150
women admitted to the bar.
In conjunction with the sesquicentennial celebration in Wisconsin
this year, those women and their families will be recognized at an
honorary dinner October 28th at the Monona Terrace Convention Center. In
an effort to make sure all the honorary members and their relatives are
invited and know about the event, the bar needs information from the
families.
If there are relatives or former colleagues of any of the women
admitted to the bar between 1878 and 1943 and can provide information
such as addresses or phone numbers, they should contact the State Bar at
