MADISON, August 2, 2006 - The State Bar of
Wisconsin’s Legislative Oversight Committee recently presented
Scales of Justice Awards to Senators Ted Kanavas (R-Brookfield), Mark
Miller (D-Monona), Luther Olsen (R-Ripon) and Representative Jennifer

administration of and access to justice.
“The State Bar is committed to the vital role it plays in
positively impacting the legislative process on issues of importance to
the courts, the legal profession and the public,” said Attorney

Scales of Justice Award was created to formally recognize and thank
policymakers for aiding the association in fostering and maintaining the
high standards of the legal profession.”
