Stuber Elected as State Bar of Wisconsin Secretary
Madison, WI – The State Bar of Wisconsin is pleased to announce
that Attorney Jennifer Ann Stuber has been elected to a two-year term as
secretary of the organization.
Stuber, an attorney at Hogan & Melms, LLP, has been a State Bar of
Wisconsin member for 13 years. Stuber said that involvement has allowed
her to realize what a "significant asset" the State Bar can be to
lawyers and the clients they serve.
"I am honored to have been elected to the position of Secretary. I look
forward to the challenge of serving the State Bar of Wisconsin for the
next two years in that capacity," said Stuber.
Stuber grew up in northern Wisconsin and returned there to practice
after graduating from Valparaiso University School of Law. After working
as a law clerk to the Oneida and Vilas County judges, she joined Hogan &
Melms, a general practice firm in Rhinelander.
Hailing from a rural community, Stuber plans to encourage more rural
lawyers to become active in the State Bar. She believes opening the
lines of communication between urban and rural practices will help
improve legal services for all the residents in Wisconsin.
Stuber is an active member of the Oneida-Vilas-Forest County Bar
Association, having served as secretary, treasurer, vice president, and
president of the organization.
The term begins on July 1.
