    Former Governor Jim Doyle to Address Politics Surrounding Healthcare Reform Act

    Madison, WI – State Bar of Wisconsin PINNACLE®, the leading provider of continuing legal education for attorneys in the state, is pleased to announce that former Governor Jim Doyle will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Health, Labor, and Employment Law Institute luncheon in the Wisconsin Dells.

    Doyle, who has been nationally recognized for his health law expertise and his work with the White House, will discuss the legal and political landscape after the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision on President Obama's Healthcare Reform Act. Doyle will examine what the decision means for Wisconsin, and what impact health care reform will have on the upcoming presidential elections.

    Prior to serving as Wisconsin’s 44th governor, Doyle served as Wisconsin’s attorney general and as Dane County District Attorney. He graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1972. Doyle is currently of counsel with Foley & Lardner LLP.
