    Mo Rocca, Bryan Stevenson Will Join Nation's Top Lawyers, Journalists at State Bar Conference

    Madison, WI – The State Bar of Wisconsin has put together an exciting 2015 Annual Meeting & Conference lineup featuring CBS Sunday Morning Correspondent Mo Rocca, New York Times Bestselling author Bryan Stevenson and the journalists and lawyers who have reported on and prosecuted some of the nation’s most infamous individuals.

    All of these Annual Meeting & Conference events – and more – are scheduled for June 25 and 26 at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva.

    Thursday, June 25 – Stevenson Set to Discuss Problems in America’s Justice System

    Bryan Stevenson, executive director of the Equal Justice Initiative, will give the opening plenary on American Injustice: Mercy, Humanity and Making a Difference from 8 to 9:30 a.m.He will sign copies of his book, Just Mercy, immediately after his talk.

    Friday, June 26 – Reporters, Lawyers Dissect High Profile Media Cases in New Seminar 

    Members of the media are invited to attend “The Ethical Implications of High Profile Cases in the Media” seminar from 10:55 to 11:45 a.m. Panelists will discuss their experiences covering the trials of George Zimmerman, Casey Anthony, Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy and others.

    Friday, June 26 – Rocca to Close the Conference with Humorous Q&A

    Expect the unexpected during a Q&A from 1 to 2 p.m. with funny newsman Mo Rocca. From news and comedy to presidential history, from voting in America to Wisconsin cuisine, Rocca will hold forth on both serious and off-beat topics with his unique brand of humor and informed insight.
