Free CaseLaw Express service updates subscriber list, renew by Feb. 14

CaseLaw ExpressFeb 3, 2010 – More than 5,300 lawyers, judges, law office support staff, and court personnel subscribe to the State Bar’s CaseLaw Express™ free weekly email service.

Here’s what subscribers say about CaseLaw Express

“The service is great. Any attorney who does not subscribe is at a clear disadvantage.”

“The service gives me enough information so that I can make a quick decision whether I want to read the whole case.”

“It’s so much better for our small practice than subscribing to the reports, in terms of cost, space, and efficiency.”

“This service is invaluable to me, as I can scan those cases that have an impact on my work for a state agency.”

Subscribers receive an email each Monday listing all decisions handed down by the Wisconsin Supreme Court and Court of Appeals during the previous week. Each edition categorizes cases by topic, provides a summary paragraph with direct links to the full text of each decision, and indicates whether a decision has been recommended for publication. A fully searchable archive helps you find cases by topic area.

Each year, the State Bar asks CaseLaw Express subscribers to reconfirm their interest in receiving this service. This practice ensures delivery only to those who want to receive it. If you are a subscriber who hasn’t verified your subscription, you can do so upon opening the Feb. 8 email. You must verify before Feb. 14 to avoid service interruption.
