Communications Committee presents the 2008 Dunn Award to
Terry F. Peppard, Madison
Roy E. Wagner, Milwaukee
April 1, 2009 - The Dunn Award, named after Wisconsin’s first
chief justice, recognizes writing excellence in Wisconsin
Lawyer™ magazine articles. The Communications Committee
serves
as the editorial advisory board for the monthly magazine.
Roy Wagner, left, and Terry Peppard with Chief Justice Abrahamson.
Terry F. Peppard, Madison, and Roy E. Wagner, Milwaukee,
co-authored “Mediating Complex Construction Claims” in the
June issue of
Wisconsin Lawyer™ magazine. This article
took
a very complex issue and addressed and organized all of the various
facets of construction disputes in a very easy to read, understandable
way. It is an excellent educational tool, not only for mediators, but
also for lawyers who represent clients in the construction industry.
This article is an example of what the magazine is designed to be: a
resource for lawyers, providing informative, educational articles from
which all lawyers can learn.
