Through the prepayment plan, members can pay FY25 Supreme Court assessments and State Bar dues in installments over six months: Just sign up by early January.
Dec. 6, 2023 – State Bar of Wisconsin members have the option to pay their Wisconsin Supreme Court assessments and State Bar dues for next fiscal year over a six-month period.
Fiscal year 2025 (FY25) covers July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025. Statements are typically sent out in early May, with final payments due by July 1.
The prepayment plan gives members the option to pay FY25 assessments and dues over six months, beginning in January 2024. In June, a final payment is made through the online payment portal.
There are no administrative fees to participate in the plan.

The Prepayment Plan: What You Need to Know
Active, Active New, Senior Active, Inactive, and Judicial State Bar members can participate.
Enroll in the plan by completing the online payment agreement and payment authorization form by Jan. 8, 2024.
The first installment payment occurs in January.
Payments are made in five equal installments (January through May).
Participants will make the sixth final payment through the State Bar’s online payment portal. This allows them to update their records, sign and submit their trust account certificate online, join optional sections and divisions, and, if desired, apply the Keller dues reduction and donate to the
Wisconsin Law Foundation.
Law firms participating in firm billing will continue to pay their assessments and dues through that process.
