April 7, 2021 – This month, State Bar of Wisconsin members elect a president-elect, a treasurer, a Judicial Council representative, district governors, and division and section officers and board members.
State Bar election ballots are emailed by the second week in April. The election closes at noon Central time, April 23, 2021.

All State Bar elections (including for State Bar divisions and sections) are being held via an electronic ballot in 2021.
To ensure you receive your State Bar election ballot, add noreply@directvote.net as an approved sender in your inbox . This prevents the ballot from being identified as spam.
Paper ballots were mailed in early April to State Bar members with no email address on file.
Candidates for the State Bar Board of Governors
The State Bar of Wisconsin’s Board of Governors influence the future of the State Bar as well as set its policy direction. Your vote for these candidates will make a difference in the future of your practice and your profession.
State Bar members will elect Board of Governor representatives during April. The Board of Governors is the State Bar's policymaking body. Governors serve two-year terms.
Districts 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, and 15 will elect governors in 2021. District 2 (Milwaukee) elects seven, District 9 (Dane) elects three, and all other districts elect one. View the District Map.
