Order 16-05: Creation of Pilot Project for Dedicated Trial Court Judicial Dockets for Large Claim Business and Commercial Cases
On Oct. 26, 2016, the Business Court Advisory Committee appointed by Chief Justice Roggensack petitioned the Wisconsin Supreme Court requesting authorization for a three-year pilot project to create dedicated trial court judicial dockets for large claim business and commercial cases in Waukesha County and in the circuit courts of the Eighth Judicial Administrative District. The petition also proposed an interim commercial court rule and creation of guidelines applicable to the pilot project.
ORDER ISSUED: April 11, 2017
DISPOSITION: Approved, commencing July 1, 2017 or as soon thereafter as reasonably practicable.
