Whether you want to grow your practice with new clients, add a new area of practice, or expand into another market, LRIS can help you achieve your goal.
LRIS is looking for lawyers of all levels of experience for its reference service. And now for a limited time you can save 25 percent off the regular rate to be part of this service.
No Time Wasted
Experienced referral specialists answer more than 25,000 calls per year. Prior to making a referral, trained referral specialists assess the potential clients’ needs for attorney services by:
Screening out callers seeking free legal information
Determining if there is a true legal need
Establishing that the callers have the means to pay
This provides an essential service that no other advertising vehicle can provide: pre-screened clients who have indicated a willingness and ability to pay.

LRIS – Good for New Lawyers, Too
LRIS is a great way for new lawyers to gain clients and experience.
New lawyers receive access to referrals through June 30, 2016, for just $56.25; get more savings off the price if you were admitted in 2015 – join for just $33.75. That’s less than $6.25 a month. Or register for two years and save 10 percent on the cost of registration for both years.
LRIS is a great way for new lawyers to gain experience – lawyers choose to receive referrals only the practice areas they prefer.
How LRIS works
Lawyers who register can join two pools of referrals – phone and Internet. Web referrals account for more than 40 percent of the total referrals made, yet the website’s existence has not decreased the number of phone calls to the service, which remains at more than 25,000 annually.
Experienced LRIS legal assistants evaluate callers’ needs and then either refer them to an attorney, a community or government resource, or the Lawyer Hotline, or answer basic questions.
Participation in the Internet service is optional and included with LRIS registration at no additional charge. Users access LRIS through WisBar and receive referrals by selecting a legal practice area and geographic location. As with LRIS’s telephone referral service, online referrals are made on an impartial, county-by-county, rotation basis with both types of referrals. Clients contact attorneys directly to set up appointments.
