Hearing Order 14-02 & 07-11C: Discretionary Transfer of Civil Actions to Tribal Court
Petition 14-02 was filed by six members of the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin. The petitioners seek to amend/dissolve Wis. Stat. § 801.54, regarding discretionary transfer of civil actions to Tribal Court. Petition 07-11C refers to the comprehensive review of Wis. Stat. § 801.54. The two rule petitions remain separate matters. However, they will be considered at a consolidated public hearing.
Hearing Order Issued: September 1, 2015
Disposition: A public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at 9:30 a.m., Supreme Court Room, State Capitol, Madison.

Order 14-04: Protection of Information in Circuit Court Records
The Consolidated Court Automation Programs (CCAP) Steering Committee filed a petition asking the court to create Wis. Stat. § 801.19. The proposal is intended to protect certain personal information found in circuit court records, and to establish procedures for submission of confidential information and sealing and redaction of documents.
Order Issued: August 27, 2015
Disposition: Effective July 1, 2016
