Sept. 17, 2014 – Member volunteers are the driving force behind State Bar of Wisconsin programs and initiatives. When you get involved, you help shape the future of your Bar and your profession. Please consider contributing your time and expertise as an officer or Board of Governors representative.
State Bar Officers
The State Bar will elect a president-elect, a treasurer, and a Judicial Council representative in 2015. Members wishing to be considered for one of these offices should send a letter of interest to jmarks@wisbar.org or mail to Jan Marks, State Bar of Wisconsin, P.O. Box 7158, Madison, WI 53707-7158, by Nov. 1.
The State Bar Nomination Committee, which will be appointed at the Sept. 19-20 Board of Governors meeting, will announce its slate of candidates by Dec. 15.
State Bar members also can make officer nominations by filing a petition signed by 100 active Bar members with the State Bar by Feb. 2, 2015. For an officer petition, contact Jan Marks at (608) 250-6106, or (800) 444-9404, ext. 6106.
