Search Tips

The default operator is AND. Words must be joined by the word AND. (If AND is not included only those products that have both words next to each other will be found.)

SAMPLE SEARCHES:
law and legal = law AND legal
(Search will return all instances of products that contain both the word "law" and the word "legal" in their descriptions.)
trust and trustee = trust AND trustee

Use OR to expand results or to create more complex searches:

SAMPLE SEARCHES:
trust OR trustee
contract OR agreement

Use NOT to exclude terms:

SAMPLE SEARCHES:
trust NOT trustee
contract NOT agreement

The search will only find instances of these words in this exact order. To find all instances of law, contract, as well as contract law, use the AND operator.

No additional symbol is needed for truncation and a search will find all instances of the search string that occur at the beginning of a word.

SAMPLE SEARCH:
leg = legal, legalese, legislate, legislation

Using the wildcard "*" will find words that contain the search string after the beginning of the word.

SAMPLE SEARCHES:
*leg = paralegal, paralegals
*red = contoured, injured, ordered

Punctuation: The only punctuation mark supported by Simple Search is the apostrophe. Using any other punctuation mark will yield no results.
