Thomas N. Shorter, JD, FACHE is a partner in the Husch Blackwell LLP Madison office and part of the Healthcare, Life Sciences & Education Strategic Business Unit. Tom represents health care systems, hospitals, physicians' groups, and health care associations. Tom provides counsel on health care, corporate, labor and employment, and regulatory matters.
Actively involved in numerous healthcare industry organizations, Tom has been called to serve as a member of the board of directors and in July 2022, begins the term of president for the American Health Law Association (AHLA), as well as a member, past chapter president and regent with the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Tom has also been granted status as a fellow with ACHE (FACHE). Tom is also a board member of the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives (NALHE). Tom is also active in the State Bar of Wisconsin.
