Court with Class, a joint venture of the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the State Bar of Wisconsin, provides high school teachers with the opportunity to include a Wisconsin Supreme Court visit as part of their classroom activities.
Through this program, high school classes:
- Visit the Wisconsin Supreme Court Hearing Room at the state Capitol or schedule a virtual meeting
- Select an actual case heard by the Wisconsin Supreme Court to study
- Meet with a Justice to discuss both the case and the role of the Supreme Court
Prior to the visit, teachers are provided with a synopsis of the case, information about the court system, and other law-related materials to help students to prepare for their meeting with a Justice. For in-person visits, teachers are encouraged to arrange meetings with local legislators and a tour of the Wisconsin State Capitol.
SPACE FOR THIS PROGRAM IS LIMITED. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY.
