The City of Racine, Wisconsin, is seeking a talented part-time attorney with two to five years of experience who is interested in serving as an advisor to the City of Racine on issues related to alcohol beverage licensing and other business licensing matters under Wisconsin law and Racine ordinances. The selected attorney will represent the City as opportunities are delegated by the City Attorney. This is a part-time position that requires an average of 15 to 20 hours of work per week, including two mandatory evening meetings per month.

Applicants must hold a minimum of a juris doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school, have a Wisconsin law license, and have at least two years of legal experience. Superior research and writing skills and attention to detail are required.
The 2025 starting hourly pay range for the position will be $42.84 to $45.29. Starting pay is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
