The Appellate Practice Section brings together State
Bar members who have a special interest in the field of appellate

attorneys practicing in state and federal appellate courts. The section
publishes a newsletter and sponsors the Appellate Practice Workshop, in
which participants brief and argue an appellate case, with feedback from
appellate judges and experienced practitioners. Annual section dues are
free to all first-year attorneys, $20 to others (July 1 to June 30).
