Appointments, Elections
Andrew Adams III, U.W. 2006, has been appointed as a justice to the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Supreme Court. Adams is an associate with Jacobson, Buffalo, Magnuson, Anderson & Hogen PC, St. Paul, Minn.
Barry J. Boline, Drake 1994, has been appointed court commissioner for Ozaukee County.
Karin A. Bentz, U.W. 1982, a sole practitioner, has become president of the Virgin Islands Bar Association, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
Nicole J. Druckrey, Minnesota 2003 cum laude, has been appointed to the Oak Creek Community Development Authority. Druckrey is a partner at Quarles & Brady LLP, Milwaukee, with the commercial litigation group and focuses on unfair trade practices.

Authors, Speakers
Ralph Adam Fine, Columbia 1965, has authored the revised third edition of The How-To-Win Appeal Manual (Juris, 3d ed. 2012). He is a judge on the Wisconsin Court of Appeals.
Michael J. Remington, U.W. 1973, presented a lecture in Guangzhou, China, to several hundred Chinese judges on recent developments in U.S. copyright law. Remington is a partner at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, Washington, D.C.
Retirements
Roy Thilly, U.W. 1974 magna cum laude, retired as CEO of WPPI Energy in 2011.
Pro Bono, Public Service
John Schulze Jr., Marquette 2004, is chair for the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC) Partners in Giving campaign to raise money in the workplace for charities. Schulze is PSC division administrator.
