How to Reach the New State Bar Center

The State Bar's phone numbers and post office box address remain the same. The new street address is 5302 Eastpark Blvd., Madison, WI 53718-2101.

Driving directions. The State Bar Center is part of the American Center Office Park near the intersection of Highway 151 and I-90/94 on Madison's far northeast side.

To find the American Center, get on Hwy. 151 north (East Washington Avenue) at the intersection of Hwy. 151 and I-90/94. Take a right at the second exit (98B), which is American Parkway. Follow American Parkway to Eastpark Boulevard and take a left on Eastpark. The Bar Center is located at 5302 Eastpark Blvd.

Bus route. Madison Metro will extend city bus service to the American Center, tentatively scheduled to begin in November. Service will be limited to weekday morning, noon, and afternoon routes. Buses will run from the north and east transfer points.

Using Your State Bar Center

In addition to conducting State Bar-related business (such as committee, section, and division meetings, CLE seminars, and so on), members are encouraged to use the building for private meetings, depositions, and social gatherings. If you're in town on business and have time between meetings or court appearances, consider using the Bar Center as your "field office" to return phone calls and check email (bring your laptop).

With 40,000 square feet and more than 200 free parking spaces, the Bar invites members to use: any of five conference rooms that can seat from four to 16 people; a technology center that can hold 12; the rotunda for receptions of up to 100; three large seminar rooms that individually can accommodate up to 80 depending upon seating style, or, when combined, up to 250 using a theatre-style seating arrangement. Individual workspaces also may be used; their availability may vary daily.
