The Wisconsin Law Foundation (WLF) is soliciting applications, due
April 1, for grants of up to $2,000 for 2004-05. Requests must involve
charitable or educational programs that promote public understanding of
the law, the improvement of administration of justice, or another
law-related public service.
"The mission of the WLF is to make a difference through law-related
programs that educate and serve the public," said Grants Committee Chair
Lynne Solomon. "We have increased our membership and are hopeful we will
be able to support more programs this year."
The WLF, the charitable arm of the State Bar, is a fully chartered
501(c)3 organization, which supports projects such as the Mock Trial
Tournament, We the People Teacher Institute, and peer and teen court
programs.
