to 3 p.m. The video seminar is scheduled for Aug. 19 at statewide
locations. This seminar has been submitted for 6.0 CLE credits, does not
qualify for EPR credits, and has been submitted for Minnesota CLE
credits. Tuition is $199. Start time includes a 30-minute registration
period.
Attend the Webcast seminar, A Matter of Trust: Handling Your
Clients' Funds Under the New Trust Account Rule, presented by
State Bar CLE Seminars and the Office of Lawyer Regulation on July 28,
from 2 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. (CDT). The seminar also is offered live in
Madison during the Webcast presentation.
On April 30, the Wisconsin Supreme Court issued an order repealing
and recreating SCR 20:1.15, the rule regarding lawyer trust and
fiduciary accounts. The new rule, effective July 1, 2004, constitutes
the most significant changes to the rule since its inception in 1988.
Learn how the trust account rule will affect you and how you currently
handle your trust accounts. Make sure you understand the requirements of
the new SCR 20:1.15.
