Create a family law dream team; new seminar focuses on
teamwork
State Bar CLE Seminars' new program, The Ultimate Family Law
Dream Team: Teaming Up With Your Legal Staff to Get the Job
Done, is designed to help family law practitioners develop a
team - attorneys and staff - to meet the demands of drafting pleadings,
conducting discovery, attending hearings, preparing cases for trial, and
maintaining communications with clients.
Having a team of professional, experienced paralegals and legal
assistants is integral to the success of a family law practice. With
cross-training, delegation, and communication, the efforts of legal
staff can contribute to client services, maximize your firm's efficiency
and productivity, and increase the economic performance of your
practice. You will learn how to identify and assign the role of the team
members, evaluate each member's skills for maximum productivity,
delegate critical tasks to team members with confidence, and nurture and
maintain the attorney/staff relationship.
The live program will be presented on Feb. 5 in Madison from 8 a.m.
to 3 p.m. The video seminar is scheduled for Feb. 24 at statewide
locations. Tuition is $199 for a single attendee and $179 for two or
more. The program has been submitted for up to 6.0 CLE credits, does not
qualify for EPR credits, and will be submitted for Minnesota CLE
credits.
