This is Your Opportunity
Service to the profession is part of our responsibilities as a professional. This is your opportunity to enhance your service to the legal profession and Wisconsin lawyers by indicating your interest in serving in one of these positions.
The president-elect is the future leader of the State Bar, and provides guidance and direction to the Board of Governors and State Bar staff on the many aspects of governance of the association, and contributes to the profession by providing that leadership for the State Bar.
The State Bar treasurer serves on the Finance Committee and oversees the financial affairs of the organization with assistance of State Bar staff.
The representative on the Judicial Council assists the Wisconsin Supreme Court in addressing the needs of lawyers and judges that service the public and the legal profession.
Each of these positions creates an important contribution to the legal profession and the rule of law in our state.
