Aug. 3, 2022 – For the first time in three years, the State Bar of Wisconsin will hold its annual Health, Labor, and Employment Law Institute in-person on Aug. 18-19. The institute will be held at the Glacier Canyon Lodge in Wisconsin Dells.
Tom Shorter, a partner at Husch Blackwell, and David Cade, the CEO of the American Health Lawyers Association, will present on a range of state and federal health law developments.
“In Wisconsin, among health care providers there have been a lot of licensure-based changes over the last year or so,” Shorter said. “Hospital at home has been a significant development from a regulatory standpoint.”
Shorter also said that an array of “crossover” health regulations, promulgated in response to the pandemic, continue to remain in place.
