June 5, 2019 – After 43 years as a justice on the Wisconsin Supreme Court – almost half as chief justice – Shirley Abrahamson is retiring. In July, she ends her fourth, 10-year term on the state’s highest court, capping a career as the longest-serving justice in state history.
You are invited to join in celebrating Justice Abrahamson’s service to Wisconsin.
The event is Tuesday, June 18, 2019, in the State Capitol Rotunda in Madison. The program begins at 4:30 p.m. with a reception following.
The event is open to the public.
