Sept. 19, 2012 – Member volunteers are the driving force behind State Bar of Wisconsin programs and initiatives. When you get involved, you help shape the future of your Bar and your profession.
As a State Bar volunteer, you serve a vital role in providing member and public services while gaining the personal and professional satisfaction of making a difference in the profession and the legal system. At the same time, you can gain one of the most valuable skills needed today ... leadership.
Please consider contributing your time and expertise as an officer or Board of Governors representative.
State Bar Offices
The State Bar will elect a president-elect, a treasurer, and a Judicial Council representative in 2013. The State Bar Nomination Committee, which will be appointed at the Sept. 28-29 Board of Governors meeting, will announce its slate of candidates by Dec. 15.
State Bar members also can make officer nominations by filing a petition signed by 100 active Bar members with the State Bar by Feb. 1, 2013. For an officer petition, contact Jan Marks at (608) 250-6106, or (800) 444-9404, ext. 6106.
