    Associate General Counsel

Froedtert Health is seeking candidates for the role of Associate General Counsel to join its growing in-house legal department.

Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, the Associate General Counsel is responsible for providing a broad range of healthcare legal services with a strong emphasis on healthcare regulatory analysis and transactions for Froedtert Health's hospitals and health centers, home care, laboratory, health insurance, employer health services and workplace clinics, and digital health solutions.

The Associate General Counsel will serve as a strategic business partner of the organization and proactively provide counsel and training in subject matters related to the system as a whole.

The successful candidate must have excellent academic credentials, a law degree from an ABA accredited school of law, membership in the State Bar of Wisconsin, or eligibility for admission based on reciprocity, or in-house counsel is required, and an outstanding record of achievement with at least five years of relevant experience as an attorney in a hospital setting, health care environment, or law firm, with practice primarily focused on health law related issues. Experience working with academic medical centers and tax-exempt entities is helpful.
