    Attorney Full-time Position

    JOB SUMMARY: This position serves as counsel for the holding company, as well as related affiliates and subsidiary corporations. The major responsibilities for this position are drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, primarily refined petroleum product trading and sales agreements, performing legal research on a variety of issues, evaluating and making recommendations regarding the legal implications of assigned matters, and working closely with various business units.

    KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
    Desired minimum qualifications include:
    · J.D. degree from an accredited law school
    · Minimum 11 years of relevant legal experience
    · Experience in corporate law, contracts, and transactional law required
    · Experience in the refined petroleum products space preferred
    · Significant experience in at least two additional legal areas such as: mergers and acquisitions, environmental, employment, credit, real estate, intellectual property, or transportation and logistics preferred
    · Licensed to practice law and admitted to the Bar in the State of Wisconsin or Texas
    · Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
    · Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    · The ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    · The ability to take initiative and work independently
    · Lead moderate projects and participate in significant legal projects
    · Excellent organization skills
    · Proficient use of technology
    · Ability to work with diverse groups of people in a tactful and persuasive manner

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
    · Serve several divisions within the company with general legal support
    · Draft and review contracts, primarily contracts core to the midstream refined petroleum product space
    · Negotiate with vendors and/or their counsel
    · Respond to a variety of legal inquiries from across the company
    · Conduct legal research on a variety of issues
    · Work within a close team environment
    · Provide advice on issues of significant legal import to the company
