This position assists the agency's chief legal counsel with administrative enforcement and other legal proceedings. This involves working with departmental staff on enforcement strategy and prioritization; researching and developing legal arguments and counterarguments in contested matters; drafting pleadings, discovery, and legal correspondence; and coordinating where appropriate with the Department of Justice, district attorneys, and other federal and state agencies.
