UnityPoint Health has an immediate opportunity for an experienced corporate health care attorney to become a member of our top-notch team of legal professionals.
This position is for an Associate Counsel or Senior Counsel, level to be determined based upon experience, and requires a minimum of four (4) years of health care experience. This position will support the Wisconsin region and other areas of UnityPoint Health.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• License to practice law in Wisconsin or be licensed to practice in another state and be eligible for registration for in-house counsel in Wisconsin.
• Law degree from an accredited nationally recognized law school.
• A minimum of four (4) years’ experience advising healthcare organizations.
• Highly developed communication skills to effectively work with all levels of management throughout UnityPoint Health, its subsidiaries and affiliates.
• Ability to continuously display high standards of ethics, honesty, integrity, and dependability.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision making and problem solving expertise.
• Ability to work as a team member.
