Our attorneys represent claimants applying for Social Security disability benefits. This includes planning case development, communicating with claimants, preparing for and attending hearings, and drafting appeals. Our attorneys attend about 10 hearings a month. Most of the hearings are expected to be in Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Illinois. However, on occasion further travel is available or necessary.
Most of our attorneys work from home offices. We provide all the necessary equipment and an excellent support team. Travel expenses for hearings are included, as are bar dues, liability insurance, and an excellent compensation/benefits package.
We have a strong network for excellent referrals, but we also offer bonuses for developing further referrals. Job Requirements:
• You must be licensed to practice law and not have any history of suspension of your license for disciplinary reasons.
• You must be capable and willing to communicate with disabled claimants, including on the phone. You must be comfortable and willing to appear in disability hearings before administrative law judges.
• Familiarity or comfort with medicine and anatomy is a plus, as is familiarity with vocational issues.
