    Barbara Cox Barbara Cox, U.W. 1982 cum laude, has been named the Clara Shortridge Foltz Professor of Law at California Western School of Law, San Diego. She teaches civil procedure, property, comparative issues in gender, family and sexuality, and women and the law.

    C. Scott Pryor, U.W. 1980, will be directing the Regent University Summer Program in International Human Rights in Strasbourg, France. He is a professor at Regent University School of Law, Virginia Beach, Va.

    The Wisconsin Hispanic Lawyers Association has elected the following officers: president - Kristela L. Cervera, Milwaukee; president-elect - Carlos A. Ortiz, Chicago; secretary - Jacquelynn A. Ruiz, Milwaukee; and treasurer - David A. Westrup, Milwaukee.

    The Wisconsin Supreme Court has selected the Hon. Mary K. Wagner, U.W. 1982, to serve as the new chief judge of the Second Judicial Administrative District. She is deputy chief judge of the district and sits on the Kenosha County Circuit Court. The court reappointed the following judges to new terms as chief judges: the Hon. J. Mac Davis, Michigan 1976, Waukesha County, Third Judicial District; the Hon. John R. Storck, Harvard 1979, Dodge County, Sixth Judicial District; the Hon. Sue E.     The Hon. Paul Wickham Schmidt, U.W. 1973, presented the keynote address, "Welcome to the Breakfast Club: Immigration Policy and its Impact on Education Policy," at the Eighth Annual Language, Culture, and Education Institute at U.W.-Oshkosh in March. He is a U.S. immigration judge in Arlington, Va.

    The Hon. Charles B. Schudson, U.W. 1974, presented a law and literature seminar, "Marriage, Murder, Isolation and … Judging" at the Indiana Judicial Conference in Indianapolis in April. He is a Wisconsin reserve judge.

    Dennis R. Nolan, Harvard 1970, has retired from the University of South Carolina Law School after 34 years' service and will continue his arbitration and mediation practice at 162 Harbor Dr. N., Saint Helena Island, S.C.

Wagner, U.W. 1966, was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Wisconsin Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (WAHSA) in May in recognition of his work as legal counsel for WAHSA for the past 25 years.
