    July 6, 2016 – Earn up to 11 CLE credits and enjoy time to relax and socialize with legal professionals at the State Bar of Wisconsin PINNACLE® 2016 Health, Labor, and Employment Law Institute on Aug. 18-19, 2016, at The Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells.

    It’s your chance to hear interesting and comprehensive CLE and plenary sessions, then socialize and network at the evening cocktail reception and an optional golf outing or a brewery tour.

    An Expanded Lineup

    The 2016 Institute features an expanded Health Law Update and Labor and Employment Law Update –now in two longer opening plenary sessions to give you a more robust examination of valuable case law updates in the health and employment practice areas.

    The institute offers three diverse and comprehensive CLE tracks:

    • Health Law: Explore telemedicine, wellness compliance, the 340(b) drug pricing program, institutional review boards, clinical trials, antitrust concerns, and big data.

    • Labor and Employment Law: Get the latest updates on new worker’s comp laws, the new Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, joint employment issues, noncompete agreements, and LGBT situations.

    • Practice Essentials: Learn how to fire someone the right way, conduct a wage and hour audit, and comply with the Stark Law and anti-kickback statute.

    Earn up to 11 CLE credits and 1 EPR credit while adapting your CLE experience to fit your needs. Attend all the sessions in one track, or mix and match sessions across all three areas of focus. Plus, catch up on topics you miss with two free webcast replays following the institute.

    • Happiness Strategy: Does Having It All Mean Greater Happiness?
      "Having it all" seems to go hand in hand with being a success – or so we're told. Research on happiness, and the emerging science of neuro-counseling, is shifting the happiness paradigm and providing a clear roadmap for how "having enough" is actually the way to balance all aspects of one's life.

      Thursday’s optional paid luncheon and presentation features Tammy H. Scheidegger, associate professor, Mount Mary University M.S. in Counseling Program, Milwaukee.     • Brewery Tour at Port Huron Brewing Company
      Tickle your taste buds Thursday evening with a visit to Wisconsin Dells’ newest packaging brewery. This family-owned production brewery offers five year-round brews as well as various seasonal styles. After a free tour of the facility, enjoy a cash bar at the Engine House Tap Room overlooking the brewery. The tour is free, but space is limited.

    • Tee Off with Golf at Wild Rock
      Enjoy a world-class golf game at Wild Rock Golf Club at The Wilderness. This 18-hole championship course is one of the few courses in the United States chiseled around and through a former quarry.
