However, Wisconsin courts are closely monitoring lawyer and juror use of technology in court so they can avoid the high-profile mishaps made elsewhere. Recent changes to jury instructions and court rules now limit the use of electronic equipment for communication or Internet access.
March 2, 2010 — The State Bar's Board of Governors continues what has been months of discussion regarding the association's mandatory structure. At its Feb. 26 meeting, the board did not act on the key elements of a resolution drafted by the Strategic Planning Committee, which asks the board to petition the Wisconsin Supreme Court to review the status of the integrated bar.
