    Nov. 2, 2011 – All Wisconsin-licensed attorneys are entitled to receive a free Wisconsin Lawyer Directory. The print directory, published in January, offers listings of Wisconsin lawyers and law firms; listings of courts, court personnel, and selected state offices; information on the State Bar, law-related agencies, and legal vendors; and the Lawyer-to-Lawyer Directory.

    Members who have no need for the print publication can choose not to receive it. org service wisbar Contact the State Bar by Dec. 9 to communicate your desire to opt out.

    Verify your listing

    Now is also the time to verify your listing is correct in the print directory and the online WisBar® Lawyer Search. Both directories are the most frequently used resources used by lawyers and others to find State Bar members

    Updates are quick and easy

    Verification forms were mailed at the end of October; however, it is easy to ensure the accuracy of your listing right now by checking the WisBar online Lawyer Directory. To make changes, select listing incorrect and log in to myStateBar.

    The first time you log in, your user name is your email address or your State Bar membership number. Your password is the first four letters of your last name and your date of birth (smit07061955). Be sure to verify or add your email address to your listing. You can also add your firm’s Web site address, which will appear only in the online Lawyer Search Directory. To make changes by phone, call customer service at (608) 257-3838 or (800) 728-7788. Changes submitted after Dec. 9 may not be reflected in the 2012 directory.
