Prepayment Plan for Supreme Court Assessments and State Bar Dues: Sign Up by Jan. 9

Pay your FY 23 Supreme Court assessments and State Bar dues over six months: Sign up by early January.

Dec. 1, 2021 – State Bar of Wisconsin members again have the option to pay their Wisconsin Supreme Court assessments and State Bar dues for next fiscal year over a six-month period.

“Paying in installments allows members – particularly those working in small-firm or government settings – a means to better manage their finances, spreading payments over a six-month period,” said State Bar Past President Kathy Brost.

Fiscal year 2023 covers July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023. Statements are typically sent out in early May, with final payments due by July 1.

The prepayment plan allows you to pay FY 2023 dues and assessments over six months, beginning in January 2022. In June, a final payment is made through the State Bar’s Online Assessment and Dues Payment Portal. During that final payment, you will update your record, sign and submit your Trust Account Certificate, join your practice sections, elect to make a Wisconsin Law Foundation donation, and request the Keller dues reduction.

If you have any questions, please review the prepayment plan FAQs for full details.

To enroll in the plan, you must sign up by Jan. 9, 2022.
