    Law Foundation Grants Available for Charitable and Public Education Programs

    Grants of up to $2,200 are available for programs that help public understanding of the legal system. Past recipients include ABC for Health, Inc., and teen court programs across the state. Apply by April 5, 2019.

    March 6, 2019 – The Wisconsin Law Foundation is seeking applications for grants that promote greater public understanding of the law, improvement of the administration of justice, or is an educational program or project that directly affects Wisconsin residents.

    The Foundation gives out up to six $2,200 Truman Q. McNulty Grants each year for charitable or educational programs, or for projects that promote public understanding of the law, improvement of the administration of justice, or another law-related public service project that directly affects Wisconsin residents.

    In 2018, the Wisconsin Law Foundation awarded more than $35,220 in grants for law-related educational programs across the state. You can find out more about these programs on the Foundation’s grants webpage.

    About the Wisconsin Law Foundation

    The Wisconsin Law Foundation is the charitable arm of the State Bar, and has distributed thousands of dollars in grants to support law-related education and public service programs statewide on behalf of the legal profession since 1996.

    A fully chartered 501(c)3 organization, the Foundation sponsors State Bar public education programs and initiatives through the general grants fund such as the Wisconsin High School Mock Trial program, and administers statewide grants through the Truman Q. McNulty Grants.
