Final Order 18-01: Petition to Redistribute Counties Constituting Sixth Judicial Administrative District

On Jan. 9, 2018, the Director of State Courts filed a rule petition that proposes redistributing the counties that presently constitute Wisconsin’s sixth judicial administrative district. The proposal dissolves the sixth judicial administrative district, consolidating the 10 judicial administrative districts into nine districts. This requires amending SCRs 70.14 and 70.17 and amending or repealing Wis. Stat. sections 13.525, 753.06, and 757.60.

    ORDER ISSUED: April 11, 2018

DISPOSITION: Petition granted, effective July 31, 2018.
