How to be an Ambassador for your Sponsorship or Exhibit

Raise your profile and make the most of your connection to the event by sharing it on social media!

Your engagement online directly impacts attendance and overall attendee satisfaction. By actively posting about your sponsorship or exhibit, you demonstrate your expertise and leadership on the topic, and connect to Wisconsin's greater legal community.

Get started today. Follow these steps:

Step #1: Follow the State Bar of Wisconsin on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, or whatever social media platforms you use.

Step #2: Click “Going" on our Facebook event page. Visit it here: https://fb.me/e/2U2Xtxo3j

Step #3: Tag the State Bar in your posts. Use @statebarofwi (We want to find and share your posts!)

Step #4: Use the conference hashtag: #sbwamc (This helps others find your posts.)

Step #5: Post about your company's sponsorship of AMC at least twice per month. Topic ideas:

  • What is the #1 thing you want attendees to take away about your sponsorship or service?

  • Share a FAQ (and the answer).

  • Show us why you are passionate about what you do​. (It's okay to get a little personal here.)

  • Share a resource – articles, infographics, etc. – and tell us why it's important.

  • Post a teaser about what you're offering attendees – could be photos of swag, discounts, etc.

  • Ask attendees what questions they have for you.

  • What is one thing you hope to take away from AMC?

  • Who do you hope to meet at AMC? Legal professionals in your area? Other speakers?

  • Share something personal (and connect it to your topic). Could be a hobby, activity, etc.

  • Keep the conversation going: Invite attendees to reach out to you before/after the event.

Step #6: Include photos or video in your posts – people want to see you and images related to your topic. We prefer to see unique images (selfies, behind-the-scenes, sneak peeks, etc.).  You can also find images and logos for the event he​re.​​

Step #7: Send the State Bar your preferred social media profiles. We want to tag you in posts and direct attendees to your profile to help elevate your professional network.

Step #8: Invite your networks to attend the event. Ask them to register at ​ www.wisbar.org/amc.
