    Chime in: Judicial Council Subcommittee Looking for Feedback on Criminal Discovery Process

    The Judicial Council criminal procedure subcommittee continues its work on crafting revisions to 2013 AB 383. The subcommittee has developed an ambitious work plan for the summer months. They recently held a day-long meeting entirely devoted to preliminary hearings – next up for the subcommittee is discovery provisions in criminal cases.

    The next scheduled meeting of the subcommittee is July 15 in room 412-East of the State Capitol. The subcommittee will begin at 9 a.m. and will receive testimony from those wishing to appear in person or submit written comments.
