    Don't Miss It: State Bar Hosting Final Attorney General Candidate Debate This Week

    Oct. 27, 2014 – The State Bar of Wisconsin is partnering with WISC-TV and WisPolitics to host a debate between Wisconsin Attorney General candidates Susan Happ and Brad Schimel this Wed., Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. at the State Bar Center in Madison.

    WISC-TV’s Eric Franke will moderate the debate, which will stream live at Channel3000.com. The debate will be televised three times on Sunday, Nov. 2, airing in the Madison area on WISC-TV at 10 a.m. and TVM at 1 p.m., and in the La Crosse area on WKBT-TV at 5 p.m. 

    Schimel is currently the District Attorney for Waukesha County. Happ is currently the District Attorney for Jefferson County. Both will debate before a live audience.

    About the Candidates

    Brad Schimel graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1990. Upon graduation, he served as a prosecutor in the Waukesha County District Attorney’s Office.     Susan Happ graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1998. Upon graduation, she practiced law for six years at Monogue & Witt S.C. before starting her own law practice in 2005.
