Order 12-01: Review of Report of the Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Rule Procedures

In June 2010, the Supreme Court established the Wisconsin Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Rule Procedures to consider its own administrative rulemaking procedures. At the open rules conference on June 21, 2016, the court denied rule petition 12-01. The denial encompasses the committee’s rule proposals, the rule proposals submitted by individual justices, and thereby rescinds the court’s Feb. 28, 2013 decision to adopt, in concept, a “rules cycle.”

    Order Issued: July 28, 2016

    Disposition: Petition denied
