Determining who's at fault: Wisconsin's new product liability laws

    Jessica E. Ozalp

July 20, 2011 – To recover from an injury caused by a defective product, plaintiffs now must prove a manufacturer rejected a reasonable alternative design that would have reduced the foreseeable danger. Ozalp co-authored the article, “A New Era: Products Liability Law in Wisconsin,” with Timothy Edwards, which appears in the July Wisconsin Lawyer magazine.
