We the People, a national program based on a curriculum
designed to promote a deeper understanding of the Constitution and the
Bill of Rights, is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Education.
Wisconsin's program is supported by the State Bar's Law-related
Education Committee, the Wisconsin Council for Social Studies, and the
Wisconsin Law Foundation.
Teams complete a semester instructional program about the
Constitution and the Bill of Rights. At the competition, students answer
questions posed by panels comprising lawyers, legislators, and
educational professionals acting as U.S. congressional
representatives.
