    Back by popular demand - CLE Seminars bankruptcy seminar; Short on ethics credits? Legal Ethics 2005 is coming in January

    If you missed the 2005 Annual Bankruptcy Update seminar due to all your 341 hearings, here is your chance to learn about the provisions of the Bankruptcy Reform Act, which became effective Oct. 17, 2005. State Bar CLE Seminars will offer the video seminar on Jan. 23 at statewide locations.

    The Hon. Keith Lundin and Henry Hildebrand III, Chapter 13 Trustee, deliver their nationally acclaimed presentation, "Consumer Bankruptcy after the Bankruptcy Abuse and Consumer Protection Act of 2005," at the full-day seminar.

    Lundin has served as judge on the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Tennessee since 1982. He is judge (by designation) of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the districts of Kansas and Maryland, the Northern District of New York, and the Eastern District of Tennessee. He served as judge for the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the Sixth Circuit from 1997 to 1999.

    Hildebrand has served as Standing Trustee for Chapter 13 matters in the Middle District of Tennessee since 1982 and as Standing Chapter 12 Trustee for that district since 1986.

    The seminar runs from 8 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. Tuition is $199. The seminar has been submitted for up to 7.5 CLE credits, does not qualify for EPR credits, and has been submitted for Minnesota CLE credits.

    State Bar CLE Seminars will offer the half-day Legal Ethics 2005 _ The Challenge Continues video seminar on Jan. 25 at select locations. The seminar again features interactive "Stump the Panel" segments, an opportunity for attendees to see how the speaker panel would react to common ethical dilemmas faced by all lawyers.

    The seminar runs from 8 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Tuition is $169. The seminar has been submitted for up to 4.0 CLE credits and 4.0 EPR credits and will not be submitted for Minnesota CLE credits.

    Start times include a 30-minute registration period.
